    DESCRIPTION: The Szechenyi Chain Bridge was the first permanent bridge of Budapest opened in the mid-19

    century and named after the “Greatest Hungarian” Count Szechenyi.  It can be seen in the background.  To the left, the Hungarian Parliament, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Budapest – the tiny Hungarian country has the 3

    largest parliament in the world.  Several of the country’s greatest historic treasures can be seen from the Danube River.  Card back is stamped with “Public Library, Portland, Maine”.
    CONDITION: Unused; not mailed. Public Library circular rubber stamp on back side. Soft corners. Corner bumps, bends. Edge wear. Soiling and age tanning. POOR to Fair condition
