This listing is for a collection of marketing advertisements, brochures, letters, receipts relating to Clothing & Dry Goods - N.Y. Boston, Vermont, Mass. & etc. places. In addition to being the President of the First National Bank mentioned, he was also a prominent wealthy businessman including lumber and stone (marble and slate). Companies include A.C. Hodgman Clothing, Abbott & Co. Wool, Ladies & Gents paper Collars, Berry & Hotchkiss Buck Glove Manufactures, J. & D. A. Consalus Wool Brokers and Commission Merchants, MME. Demorest's Emporium of Fashions New York, Dowd Baker Whitfield & Co. Fancy Goods and Yankee Notions, Hosiery and Gloves, L.M. Bates & Co., Glen Shirt Co. Shirts, Collars, & Cuffs, Boyden Malloy & Co. Hats, Caps, Furs, and Straw Goods, Lewis Coleman & Co, The Freeman Overall Co, The Dutchess Manufacturing Co, Mason & Tucker Skirts, Corsets, and other 1800's Companys.
