    Early Document Nov. 22, 1823 measuring approx. 5 x 8 with pieces missing at right edge, fold, slight separation at one fold and the reverse has mounting traces from an album. The document is a receipt of sale, Rec'd of John F. Martin five hundred fifty dollars infull payment for my negro man Davy which negro I do hereby warrant the health & title to the said John F.
