    Description

Coin silver tablespoon (just over 9” long, bowl just under 1 ¾” at its widest), probably from the Netherlands, circa mid to late 18
    th
century. The spoon has a hallmark with a lion rampant and block letter K next to a faint cursive letter, maybe a capital B. Note also the xxxx marks all along the thin part of the handle. The bowl has a very nice dovetail mark with dimples just like found on a rosehead nail. This is almost certainly European. I think this is a Dutch spoon, judging by the hallmarks, but I can’t quite pin down the identification for sure. The spoon is in good condition with some wear at the tip but with no breaks or substantial dents. Very nice European coin silver tablespoon! Free first class shipping!
